Powerful Partnerships is an independent organisation and registered charity, providing Citizen Advocacy for people 16+ years labelled as having a learning disability in Edinburgh. We were first set up in 1995 to support people who were leaving Gogarburn Hospital in Edinburgh to live in the community.
Over the past ten years we have developed a strong base of knowledge and experience through working alongside people who are marginalized and socially excluded. Our office is based in the west of Edinburgh, though we cover the whole of the city in order to continue reaching people who require advocacy.
