Long-term advocacy

This form of advocacy is predominantly based on the quality of the relationship between the advocate and their partner and can continue indefinitely. Though, over time, the partner may encounter various specific issues around which they need their advocate’s support, the fundamental purpose of long-term partnerships is to increase that person’s circle of friends and increase their involvement in the local community.
